📢 Dutch company hiring C and CE drivers – Car Transport (8/9 vehicles)

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years of proven experience in vehicle transportation.

  • Conversational English is mandatory (German or Dutch is an advantage).

📝 Job Description:

  • Route: Domestic (Netherlands only).

  • Trailer type: Car carrier platform.

  • Trucks: Volvo, Scania, Renault.

  • Cargo: Cars.

  • Handling: Driver is fully responsible for the integrity of the transported vehicles.

  • Repairs: No repairs on trucks required.

  • Parking: Weekly rest (24h/45h) is taken at company-provided accommodation.

  • Schedule: Day shifts, approx. 06:00 – 16:00 (optional Saturday work).

  • Mileage: 8,000 – 9,000 km/month.

  • Communication: Through tablet or WhatsApp (English, German, or Dutch).

  • Equipment: Company provides safety shoes (€30 charge, or bring your own). Drivers bring their own clothing.

  • Working system: 6/2, 8/2, or longer assignments.

  • Regulations: In full compliance with EU Regulation 561/2006 and AETR driving/rest rules.

  • Countries: Only within the Netherlands.

Additional duties:

  • Inspect delivered vehicles in the showroom to ensure 100% cleanliness inside and out.

  • Ensure proper placement of cars.

  • Work-life balance is respected: you are always home in time for dinner.

🏠 Accommodation & Transport:

  • Preferably drivers arrive with their own car.

  • Distance from accommodation to workplace: ~8 km.

  • Company provides a car for the first 2 months for commuting/shopping.

  • If using your own car, commuting costs are reimbursed at €0.23/km (fuel consumption estimated at €0.10/km).

  • Additional bonus: €5/day per colleague if you also carpool them.

  • Free bicycle or e-bike provided.

  • Private room in shared accommodation (shared: showers, washing machines, dryers, kitchen).

  • Free weekends.

📅 Work Schedule:

  • Standard system: 6 weeks on / 2 weeks off (or longer, up to 3–5 months if preferred).

✈️ Travel:

  • Drivers must arrange their own transport to the Netherlands (not reimbursed).

  • Optional pick-up from Eindhoven Airport available (at extra cost).

💶 Salary & Benefits:

  • Category CE drivers: €19.46/hour.

  • Category C drivers: €18.28/hour.

  • Weekly pay: €750 – €900 net, depending on hours worked.

  • Working 55–65 hours/week results in higher net income.

  • Employment contract remains active during time off (social contributions paid).

  • Weekly salary payments.

✅ Requirements:

  • Valid C+E driving license.

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in car transport (auto carriers).

  • Upon arrival, drivers must complete a practical test covering: communication, punctuality, ramp loading/unloading, trailer swap, and driving style.
