📢 Belgian company is hiring C+E category drivers – refrigerated transport with taillift

📝 Job Description:

• Route: Ghent – Paris – Venlo – Amsterdam – Belgium, Netherlands, France (up to Paris and around Paris) UK , Germany

• Trailer: Refrigerated trailer with taillift

• Trucks: Equipped for long-distance distribution

• Cargo: Distribution and collection of trolleys with green plants and flowers in the Ghent – Paris – Venlo – Amsterdam regions

• Occasional: Trips to the UK (London area)

• Handling: Minimal – the driver is NOT responsible for complex loading/unloading. Loading and unloading CC troleys and secure them, counting as per CMR,  he will verify the emptys when he will get them back

• Repairs: The driver does not perform any technical repairs

Rest stops (24h and 45h):

Weekend breaks are taken at the company base. A bed is provided in a shared house located 15 km from the company, equipped with a kitchen and a washing machine. The cost is €90/week.

Drivers who do not wish to pay can stay in the truck cabin.

Return to base: Normally once or twice a week, but in some cases drivers may start on Sunday and return the following Saturday.

Working schedule: There is no fixed working schedule, but rest is normally taken at night after the daily work is finished.

Monthly KM: Approx. 10,000 km

Communication: Tablet with Transics system, WhatsApp, and phone

Equipment: Safety boots and gloves provided

Regulations: Fully compliant with EU Regulation 561/2006 and AETR driving and rest time rules

Countries driven through: Belgium, Netherlands, France (up to Paris and around Paris) UK , Germany

🏠 Accommodation and rest conditions:

• For 24h and 45h breaks, accommodation is offered in a dedicated driver house

• A pool car is available for transport between the parking and the house

• €90/week is deducted from salary for accommodation and car use

📅 Work Schedule:

• Standard rotation system: 6 weeks of work / 2 weeks home

• Option to stay longer (e.g., 3 months)

• Truck exchange usually happens on Tuesday afternoon (airfare is cheaper mid-week)

✈️ Transport:

• Plane tickets are paid by the driver

• The company provides and pays for a bus ticket from Charleroi to Ghent

• Someone from the company picks up the driver at Ghent bus station, or drivers can come to base using public transport line NR76

💶 Salary and Benefits:

• Full-time Belgian work contract

• Overtime is paid when the driver returns home

• Gross salary: €15.47/hour

• Net salary: approx. €12.5/hour

• Overnight allowance in the cabin: €46.90/night (15–18 nights/month)

• Meal vouchers: €5.91/day

• Phone allowance: €10/month (= €2.5/working week) – phone is provided

📊 Salary Simulation:

▶️ 60 hours/week | 20 working days/month | 240 hours/month

• 240 hours × €12.5 net = €3,000

• 15 nights in the cabin (outside company base) × €46.90 = €703.50

• 20 working days × €5.91 = €118.20

• Phone cost: €10/month

➡️ Total net monthly income for 20 working days = approx. €3,831.70

✅ Requirements:

• Valid C+E driving license

• Minimum 6 months of experience (not necessarily in refrigerated transport)

• Advantages:

o Experience with hydraulic lift (taillift)

o Experience with tandem trailer

o Experience with Transics onboard system
